Timothy O’Bryan - On Halloween of 1974, Timothy O’Bryan was killed after eating a Pixy Stix laced with cyanide. Him, his father, sister and a group of friends had gone out trick or treating. Ronald O’Bryan (Timothy’s father) had gone back to a house that they passed earlier in the evening and brought back the Pixy Stix. It was later discovered that Ronald had been the one to lace the Pixy Stix and planned to poison both of his children after taking out a life insurance policy out on both of them. The money was to ease his own financial troubles, as he was $100,000 in debt. Fortunately Timothy’s sister did not eat one of the Pixy Stix.
